My Top 12 Travel Photos of All Time

A picture is worth a thousand words, right?

Everyone who knows me knows that for most of my life I’ve loved writing. It’s been one of my biggest passions and hobbies since I was in middle school. I’ve always found things that I care about and used writing as an outlet to express that.

When I was younger, I mostly wrote about sports and loved to pretend that I was a sports reporter. I remember watching Buffalo Sabres hockey games with my dad in 6th grade and then “interviewing” him after to have quotes to use in the game coverage articles I would write.

Now, I’ve found that traveling is my favorite hobby and what I want to write about. I love being able to compile all of my thoughts in a blog and hopefully help some people along the way.

Strangely enough, with so much going on in the world right now, I don’t have much I want to write about. I want to take this opportunity to share some of my favorite travel photos. Sometimes photos can say things that words can’t. If you’re reading this, I hope you can find some enjoyment in this post.

So, here are my personal top 12 travel photos of all time. I’ll add a bit of explanation, but for the most part, I want the images to speak for themselves.

Québec City, Canada

Sierra de Guadarrama Mountains in Madrid, Spain

Mayan Ruins in Tulum, Mexico

Toledo, Spain

Moorish Castle in Sintra, Portugal

I am a 25 year old American girl trying to see the entire world with my travel partner/boyfriend, Jacob. We find beauty in the biggest and smallest places and the journey it takes to get there.

    1. Thanks for the comment! There are actually a lot of different reasons why I chose these. Each one is from a separate experience that I’ve had or from a place that I really enjoy. A few are even just cool little spontaneous snaps that I took randomly and ended up really loving.

  1. Gorgeous photos!! I can’t wait to visit Canada. So sad it might be a while until we can travel again but these are great inspiration for when the world opens back up. We should set a challenge to post some inspiring photos of our own cities while we wait!
